One of those days.

Today, was one of those days.

Everything was boring and college was rubbish, there was far too much Maths.

Tomorrow how ever, should be good. I've two good friends joining me in an evening of excessive food and alchol comsumption, which I could do with right now.

There's always a brightside I guess.

Results.

I recieved my results for two exams I took in January of this year today.

They were Medieval History, and Maths.

Medieval History: A. Over the moon. Going mental.

Maths: Failed. I messed up big time. Gonna have to retake that.

Chainsawww.

I've been using a chainsaw all morning. It's crazy, and knackering.

But brilliant fun. =]

I earlier realised I'm legally allowed to use a chainsaw in public but not allowed to drink. Considering which is most likely to do me serious harm, I found this stupid.

This country has serious issues.

Anyway, I'm kinda annoyed I've nothing to do this evening apart from stay in, and as such sorta hoping something will materialise.

Change... and rubbish weather.

I'm no longer someones other half.

Being single again after so long feels odd, but I had an amazing time with an amazing person and it ended very well. Thank you.

I haven't posted in AGES unfortunately, I've been rather busy what with Christmas, College and other equally important things I can't recall.

I had a revelation a few days ago, when I realised since I started my A levels in September 2010 the weather has yet to be good enough for me to even consider wearing shorts to College, and as such I've never actually been wearing anything but jeans. Wierd.

I'm hoping to make this blog a little more regular now, so watch this space (But be warned, I suck at such things and there's every chance my next post will take months to materialise).

End.

I gave up Rugby a week ago today.

7 years. Over.

I'll miss it.

Sunday, 10 October 2010

Ouch.

Rugby.

I love it. And hate it.

It's the only sport I've ever kept at and really enjoyed.. and it hurts like hell. Logic doesn't seem to figure.

I played a full game today, in my favourite postion (Flanker, Google it if that word means nothing to you). We played a re-match of the team we played last week... and won 61 - 5. Brilliant.

BUT.

(Yeah, there's a but)

I'm so, SO tired. One of my team mates managed to flatten me by mistake by running into my back, and now my back kanes. It's at times like this I wonder what motivates me to play this sport. Human logic and my body say it hurts, and that it's a stupid idea to keep putting my body through it. But my mind says it fun, social, it keeps me fit and I love it. I'm not quitting. Go figure.

Collision.

S'been a while since my last post..

I've started college. Scary stuff. I like it... but it's gonna be hard work.

Tomorrow, I'm off to collect an 'Attainment Prize' from my old school at their 'Presentation Evening'. It's almost mocking that you get an award for getting decent grades. It'll be odd seeing everyone from my old 'Institution of Learning'.

I've made quite a few new friends at college.. but I do feel a bit... hollow sometimes. My life seems to revolve around getting up and going to college, working at college and wasting my free periods, getting home and and then doing homework before crashing in time to wake up the next day.

I'm studying English Lit, and one of the themes of our course is Distopian novels. A Distopia is basically to opposite of a Utopia - everything's gone to shit, and life sucks for nearly everyone. Regardless of the level, it seems it has been deemed necessary for English to be depressing... this angers me.

I miss childish acts of silliness being commited by me and others around me.
I miss life being easier than it is now.
I miss making good memories everyday.

Tomorrow my two 'worlds' of socialising and learning take a bit of a beating as they collide. Should be fun.
